Welcome to tragedy over triumph, whole truths and half lies and, I'm more than what you bargain for, my talk ain't cheap so no freestyling, I'm on some eff you pay me, grew up on rice and gravy, for a dollar from the chinese restaurant, its kind of crazy, purchased it with those foodstamps, yes I had that government cheese, I made it out the ghetto with my sanity and no disease, I don't know jack about you, but here's a glimpse of me, so accept this invitation in to my life, come along with me, started back in the 70's, influenced heavily, by rakims my melody, plus them og's was telling me, get money, get honeys, handle weaponry, carefully, carry myself like a gentleman around women and definitely, don't trust no snitch, or them female dogs, give firm handshakes, and never be identified by hogs, look a person in they eyes if they spoke to you, watch those that's too close to you, the loudest one in the room could be the weakest, so, speak when spoken to, keep your focus too, don't let bs distract you, lose your cool only if you have to, don't show it if you ain't gon use it, wield power but don't abuse it, no regrets and no excuses.
Welcome to my mind. Welcome to my world. Welcome to late nights and welcome to fly girls. I hope ur minds right. Enter my minds eye. This is my life. Let me show you what I'm like. This is who I am, this is what I'm 'bout, you're now in to my world, invited to my house, so welcome to my mind, I hope ur minds right, This is my life. Let me show you what I'm like.
I do have a salacious side but stay with me, I saw way too much as a kid and a lot of it stayed with me, so if you hear ignorant music, or it sounds kind of abusive, its just part of my story, it doesn't define my mind or my movement, its all a part of me, pardon me, influenced by the street, made in Harlem, in the era of buy black, that's me, hustled hard, played harder, they thought I was a wise cat, started doing dirt but never mind that, condoms partially protect your body, but not your heart or the part of your spirit that you lose every time you sleep with somebody you later live to regret, cheap women and cheap liquor will leave you with a headache the next day, on both ends, when it comes to love don't play, be mindful of, the hearts you touch, don't talk to much, the right hand don't need to know what the left hand is doing, live above the influence, this is more than just music.

Three great things about S.P.T.A. Said Person of That Ability are the intelligent rapping, the skilful scratching, and the superb production. Better than those is the fact that it’s just one person doing all three. Even better still is that J-Live (aka Justice Allah) performs those roles on the album as three separate characters who … Continue reading Album of the Week: S.P.T.A.
